Clairaudience (Auditory Psychic Information)

Clairaudience , or psychic hearing, is a common way people receive psychic information, and it’s more than just “hearing voices,” although that can be part of the ability or gift.

Clairaudience can manifest in a variety of ways. Often, the first way it manifests that people can recognize is through a sense of pressure in the ears, such as how it feels when your ears might need to pop as you ascend or descend in an airplane. If you notice such a sensation, pay attention and see if you notice any of the following forms of clairaudient information:

♦ Hearing words or phrases in your mind or with your ears

♦ Hearing sounds such as whistling or experiencing a high-pitched ringing in your ears

♦ Awakening in the morning with a word, sound, or phrase ringing in your ears

♦ Noticing other sounds or ear sensations such as hearing musical tones, snippets of music, or bells ringing

♦ In a Reiki session, hearing a simple word—such as “heart,” “lungs,” or “leg”— directing you where to channel Reiki energy

♦ Experiencing other auditory sensations such as a muffling of sound, changes in pitch or frequency, rises and drops in volume, or hypersensitivity to background noise

Clairvoyance (Visual Psychic Information)

Clairvoyance is also known as psychic seeing. You may notice visions, either with your physical eyes or with your mind’s eye.

Many people expect clairvoyance to be obvious images or like watching a film with their mind’s eye, and for some people this is certainly the case. But for many, clairvoyance is more a series of quick, fleeting images that flash by and are gone as quickly as they came, much like flickering images on a film that flash by so fast you almost aren’t aware of them. Some manifestations of clairvoyance include:

♦ Visual disturbances such as eye floaters or energy waves similar to heat waves

♦ Flashes of light or color seen either with the eye or in the mind’s eye

♦ Persistent images in your mind’s eye that return repeatedly or linger

♦ Flashes of images in the mind’s eye that don’t match anything you’re thinking, seeing, or doing

♦ Shadows, figures, and visions seen either with the eye or in the mind’s eye

♦ Symbols that flash in your mind

In a Reiki session, clairvoyance may manifest as a column of light or heat waves around a body part in need of Reiki energy, or it might be a vision of a specific body part in your mind’s eye during the session such as seeing a rib cage or a foot flash through your brain.

Clairsentience (Somatic Psychic Intuition)

Clairsentience , or clear feeling, is about having feelings or sensations in your physical body and energy field that transmits information about other people around you. Some ways clairsentience may manifest include the following:

♦ Physical sensations in your body that tell you how another is feeling physically, such as aches and pains, tingling, etc.

♦ The ability to feel changes in energy when you scan your hands
